Jason and The Rowland Group exceeded all our expectations from our first call through the post closing period! A cross country move and career change are tough, selling our Lincoln Park Condo with Jason and the team was a breeze. He had almost every internal and external resource at his disposal to make the selling process turn-key. Here are the highlights from our selling experience with the Rowland Group: - Professional. Jason was willing to work with our relocation company, he completed the selling contract in under 48 hours, he had professional photos and a drone video fly over scheduled within 72 hours, and had all our real estate listing ready to go within the first week of contacting him. - Deep Resources. Selling in Chicago in February = Snow. He sent his team members to our condo to shovel snow in front of the build and our roof deck to ensure we got the right shots for our listing photos. Due to a tight time line, we had to move our things out of the condo before showings were going to occur. The movers caused damage to some dry wall and paint but Jason had a general contractor come to our house to fix the damage and match the paint in a day (during a pandemic when skilled labor was in high demand and essentially unavailable). Jason's recommend attorney was brilliant and competitively priced. The negotiations, attorney review, and closing were completed smoothly and timely. - Local Knowledge. Jason's knowledge of the local market (Lincoln Park, Chicago, Chicago burbs) was impressive. He encouraged us to list at price higher than thought we could get in a tight selling window. We were under contract in less than month at an agreed upon price above what we were initially hoping to close for. If you’re like me, I started my search for a home as a first time buyer with minimal knowledge on the process. In the beginning, it can feel incredibly daunting, but I knew I was in good hands with my agent, Jason Rowland. I was connected to him by way of a trusted referral from a family friend, who was also my lender. The two worked seamlessly together to help make the home buying process easy to understand and fully transparent. I had initially connected with several different realtors and chose to work with Jason because I wanted someone who would be responsive, honest, and be ready to advocate for me if I were to be up against several bids for a listing. Which did happen, and Jason worked his magic. I successfully closed on the condo that, fortunately, checked off most of my boxes, within reason. Throughout the entire search process, I felt well informed (I had lots of questions!) and tours were thoughtfully planned out, with Jason listening to my feedback and requests (condo style, price range, location...to even the smallest aesthetic details). I met Jason Rowland two years before I put up my condo for sale. I was looking at a unit in a building at which he was showing the same unit to his client. We talked about the neighborhood and general real estate topics. I told him that I did not plan to sell my house or move for at least a year. Over that time --which was actually a time period over two years by the time I had my condo cleaned out and made ready for showing ---Jason called me from time to time. We talked about general real estate in the Lincoln Park market, which helped me get ready to list my place. Several months before I listed, I called Jason with questions about what I should do and needn't do to get it ready for listing. His advice was practical and very helpful. My condo was listed for a short time --three weeks I think before it sold. Jason's advice throughout the contract period was very helpful. By that time, he was showing me apartments. He understood exactly what type of unit I wanted to move to; he didn't suggest seeing apartments that were not within my description.
